UAB MAINSEC implements an R&D project for the development of a prototype of an integrated structural communication supply and emergency function assurance system production process (POWER TOWER)
From 2020-10-01 UAB „MAINSEC“ together with partners UAB „Elektros taupymo sprendimai“ and UAB „LUNO“ are implementing the project “Development of an integrated structural communication supply and emergency function assurance system production process prototype (POWER TOWER)”, project code no. 01.2.1-LVPA-K-856-01-0246, by 2014–2020 European Union Funds Investment Operational Program Priority 1 “Promotion of Research, Experimental Development and Innovation” Measure No. 01.2.1-LVPA-K-856 „Eksperimentas“.
The project is partially supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
The value of the project is EUR 1,604,675.88.
Allocated support funds – 1,078,948.32 Eur.
Project duration – 36 months.
The aim of the project is to create a suitable center for experimental development and research, in which it would be possible to properly combine the knowledge accumulated by the project partners and create opportunities for joint activities. During the project implementation it is planned to substantially improve and integrate the products currently being developed by the project partners, to combine the production process into a prototype of a unique integrated structural communication supply and emergency function system modular products (hereinafter TOWER-POWER). On the basis of this prototype, a highly flexible product line will be offered to the market, which will enable the provision of a unique structural connection and the provision of emergency functions. It is expected that the customized product produced in this way will be optimally adapted to the customer’s needs and easily expandable (if an incomplete (not with all offered functions) or retrofit-type construction is purchased).
UAB Mainsec provides mobile information technology solutions, products and services to mobile operators in the Baltic States and other European markets. The company also provides mobile communication quality monitoring and optimization services.
UAB Luno has developed an innovative software product Inventory3D for integrated management of corporate inventory and asset accounting in 3D graphics, Virtual Reality (VR) environment, using the company’s ERP systems information supplemented by spatial object forms and their location information in three-dimensional space.

R&D for the development of a new intelligent robotic wireless telecommunications network infrastructure and equipment maintenance system (MSX8)
MAINSEC, UAB together with partners Luno, UAB and GeoNovus, UAB implemented the project No. J05-LVPA-K-03-0113 „R&D for the development of a new intelligent robotic wireless telecommunications network infrastructure and equipment maintenance system (MSX8)“. Project was financed by European Regional Development Fund. The total value of the project 378,299.40 EUR, the allocated funding 260,844.62 EUR. Project implementation duration – 25 months.
The result of the project is the improvement and integration of the products currently being developed by the project partners to create a radically new intelligent robotic wireless telecommunications network infrastructure and equipment maintenance system that enables automated infrastructure maintenance works with the assistance of artificial intelligence and robots / drones. This allows to increases the quality of the site examinations, reducing the likelihood of human factor error. Such an intelligent system of robotic maintenance of wireless telecommunications network infrastructure and equipment allows to realize high-quality inspection of telecommunication tower structures and equipment installed-on at lower costs.
